Nelson Park
Nelson Park is a 5 acre park located on Whippoorwill Ave. in the center of town. This park was named for the late Paul Nelson, Clerk Treasurer for many years. Nelson Park has two well groomed baseball diamonds and a full court basketball court. A wide selection of playground equipment is available as well as two covered shelters, one with full restroom facilities.

Congdon Park
Congdon Park is another 5 acre park, located at the Town Hall complex. This park was named for long time Town Marshal Charles Congdon. Congdon Park has two baseball diamonds and two lighted tennis courts. There is a shelter with fireplace, grills and picnic tables. There is also a variety of playground equipment.

Park Rental for Family and Corporate Picnics
Congdon Park is available for reservations for picnics, reunions or parties. Restroom facilities are available at the Town Hall. The following rates apply for rental:

Nelson Park Summer Playground Program

The Trail Creek Park Department sponsors the Summer Playground Program. The program has two levels: pre-school children ages 3 and 4 and school age children 5 through 11 years. The groups meet on Monday, Wednesday and Friday starting the third week in June and run for nine weeks. Children who participated the previous year are notified by mail. For further information phone the Trail Creek Town Hall at 872-2422, Mon.-Fri, 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
